Prevents human tightening errors by wireless (cordless). Wireless communication range and battery life were both significantly increased for the RTDFH/RNTDFH in March 2024.

Application: Pokayoke (tightening error-proof)

Features:

Upgraded products placed on the market in March 2024. Wireless communication range is from 20 to 30 meters (approximate), when in new communication mode. Battery life has significantly improved, from 300,000 to 550,000 shots.
Can monitor transmitter battery voltage. Alerts when voltage drops below set voltage (only when operated in new communication mode).
Maintenance alert function has been added. When the number you have set is reached, it alerts you it is time for a periodic calibration, etc.
Use of an R-CM receiver or SB-FH2 wireless setting controller lets you switch to older communication mode. Even the R-FH256MC receiver, which was formerly used with the FH256MC transmitter, can receive signals. The recent upgrade lets you use the transmitter switch to check communication mode and switch between old and new modes.
When set torque is achieved the toggle activates, and at the same time a wireless tightened-to-completion signal is transmitted.
Cordless to greatly improve workability.
The R-CM receiver is the successor to the R-FH256, which has successfully partnered with the wireless Pokayoke (error proofing) FH256MC torque wrench. You can build a low cost system that combines use of wireless Pokayoke torque wrenches with wireless Pokayoke torque screwdrivers.
Uses answerback system for operator to verify communication status.
One R-CM receiver can recognize the IDs of up to four torque screwdrivers. Combining their use with the CNA-4mk3 Count Checker makes it easy to build a Pokayoke (error proofing) system.
Frequency hopping system enhances transmission reliability.
The RTDFH/RNTDFH series is ESD (electrostatic discharge) compliant and complies with IEC 61340-5-1:2007.

(RTD/RNTDFHS500CN)

One R-CM receiver can communicate with a maximum of four torque devices, but does not function with a mixture of new and old communication modes.
Both RTDFH and RNTDFH are set to new communication mode when shipped. If you wish to change to the older communication mode, you need to operate the switch on the transmitter.
Before the product is shipped, we can custom set the channel and group ID (for a fee). At the same time, we can also change the communication mode from old to new or vice versa.

Only RTDFH260CN and RTDFH500CN models come with an adjustable open head.
